Aravindam Eye and Neuropsychiatry Clinic, Solan, was started in year 2020 by Dr. Amit Sharma, who is an Eye specialist, MBBS DNB in Eye, from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. together with Dr. Parul Sharma, Psychiatrist who has done her MBBS, from IGMC Shimla and her MD from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana. Both of them initially worked at a Hospital, and then at a Medical College, having a work experience of around 20 years.

Four years ago, with a view to provide a state of the art eye care, through the most advanced technology, Dr. Amit had started the clinic and gradually expanded the scope of the different treatments for not only myopia, eye infections, cataract but also glaucoma and retinal diseases. Advanced eye care has been provided with state of the art Phacoemulsification technique for cataract surgery with Imported Intra Ocular Lenses, OCT for Diabetic Retinopathy, Corneal Topography for Keratoconus and Perimetry for Glaucoma.

With a view to provide early detection, treatment and management of neuropsychiatric disorders, such as Migraine, Anxiety disorders like Panic, Phobias, Obsessions, and also Major Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders etc, a holistic protocol was started. This includes regular Counselling sessions and treatment with latest medications which pose least side effects and promote early recovery. As we all know, due to the increasing stress and competitive lifestyles, youngsters particularly become vulnerable to these problems, and do not know whereto seek help. By providing these services within the city, circumventing the need to go to Chandigarh or Delhi etc, we hope to make a difference in the quality of life of all our patients.
